Jackie Sarah Brown (b. 1980, Philadelphia, PA) is a visual artist based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
She works primarily in graphite, building tightly framed drawings that operate according to their own internal rules.
Across her series, she examines constructed systems and disrupts them to reveal how they function.
Her background in interactive art and illustration informs her attention to logic and absurdity.
